- Conduct data analytics, visualization, and reporting for myself and colleagues across a range of topics, including crime, education, health and government
- Cover the court system in Morris and Middlesex County, including crime scene reporting, attending in-person and virtual hearings, requesting records and speaking with victims and their families
- Write reported first-person articles on topics ranging from coronavirus testing, vaccine card replacement, and the Jon Bon Jovi highway rest stop
Patch — Local Editor
September 2016 - December 2019
- Covered 21 communities in four counties, including social media plans and newsletter curation
- Responsible for the creation and management of the Long Valley Patch Facebook Group
- Launched the Edison-Metuchen Patch website

- Completed investigations into two separate animal welfare fraud cases, resulting in the return of thousands of dollars of donations and the shuttering of a fraudulent news outlet

PROJECTS
The Pay Check — NJ Advance Media, published Jan. 2022
- Created a first-of-its-kind database compiling and detailing police officer pay across New Jersey
- Assisted in filing more than 1,000 records requests to every police department in the state
- Compiled and analyzed a dataset of more than 24,000 police pay records, contracts, and timesheets for New Jersey’s local police departments using Google Sheets and SQL
- Reported on the impact pay practices has on local communities through traditional articles, a comic, and social media
